Some Spirit items from LP Pinak

Dear All,

Below are a good collection of spirit items by LP Pinak collected by a follower who visited LP Pinak almost on a daily basis during his time at Wat Sanamlao.

These items were made before Wat Sanamlao and kept by LP Pinak till his later years, some were passed to a kind gentleman who sold his collection to us for the sake of raising funds for the flood relief making much merits for these spirits and himself. Some of them were also obtained from Arjan Toh a senior luksit of LP Pinak whom we got to know from this kind gentleman who brought us to meet him, we are very thankful for that.

Most of the items were made using soil below the victims/bodies that were found mostly from suicides, accidents, murders etc. along with the flesh of the person involved. Some were later painted in the temple using blessed paint from LP Pinak during his later years in Wat Sanamlao.

They have been let to us at very affordable prices as the objective of the sale was to raise funds for the flood. They have all been chanted by AC Toh to help their new owners gain wealth, merit and protection.

They cost between $120 and $450 each depending on item. You can view them (and more @ the address below)

Charity Sales

Dear All,

Some of you may or may not be aware that Thailand (and other SEA countries) have been affected by freak flash floods I personally know a couple of these flood victims and most of them now have left their homes and farms and are now staying in Temples and various relief centres around the country. It has been the worst I’ve seen in recent years and most of the farmers crops have been totally destroyed and will not get to harvest their crops which they have worked so hard for.

Thai Occult is there for selling some items are very LOW cost some of which are from our personal collections so as to raise funds for these victims to get by with daily necessities etc. as much as we can.

We initially had wanted to use Ebay to do an auction but figured that some of our customers and friends might find it too much of a hassle to sign up for an Ebay account thus we decided to sell them at a FIXED price (however at a price most of you will not be able to resist).

Below are mystical wood items made of left over woods from LP Pinak these woods were 1st passed to LP Pinak from Chao Khun Chan’s collection which were mainly from LP Kron (Tok Raja). LP Pinak used these wood shavings to add into his amulets such as his stars and eyes. Since his passing his disciples used the woods to make mystical items and chanted them over the rain retreats which is a great time to obtain mystical amulets as during this time the Monks do not leave the temple and focus on meditation or producing these amulets. Incidentally this batch of woods were brought down to Chao Khun Onn in Narathiwat for him to chant over the rain retreats alongside 2 of LP Pinak disciples. We have a small collection available at our outlet at very low cost below are just 3 of them.

Nagasari Wood set in 925 Silver (Size 17)

This piece can be found in the official book produced on Lanna items. This piece was obtained from Arjan Toh a senior disciple to Kruba Wang and fellow friend of LP Ya the current abbot of Wat Banden.

Kruba Intha / Kruba Wang kwaiganpai (In 9k pink gold)

- One of Kruba Intha’s best known amulets this “Cow” is said to clear obstacles for the wearer and fetch wealth it should be offer grass and water when one if not wearing it. This piece has a gold tarkrut inserted below and beautifully encased in classy 9k Pink gold

KRuba Wang Prah Rahu Pim Lek

Phra Ajahn Plien Panyapatipo

Phra Ajahn Plien Panyapatipo (Wongsachan – family name prior to ordination) was born on 16 November 1933, year of the rooster, at Koakdon Village, Koaksi Subdistrict, Sawang Dandin District, Sakon Nakon Province. His father’s name is Ging; his mother’s Oradee. Phra Ajahn Plien has five brothers and one sister. He is the third child of the family. His grandfather, Koon Joonratchapakdi, and his grandmother raised him since young until he finished primary four. Once he turned 11 years old, his mother asked him to help his father on the family business. Phra Ajahn Plien gained an interest in medical practice when he was 18 years old. He started to treat patients under the guidance of a district doctor who was his relative. He also had a plan to pursue his study in Medical at Chulalongkorn Hospital in Bangkok but his mother preferred him to help the family business.

Phra Ajahn Plien wanted to enter the monkhood since he was 12 years old. However, his ordination took place on 31 March 1959 (25 years old) at Wat Tat Mee Chai, Koak Don Village, Koak Sri Subdistrict, Sawang Dandin District, Sakon Nakon Province. Phra Kru Adul Sangkakit was his preceptor. Phra Kru Pipit Dhamma Soontorn was his ordination-proclaiming teacher and Phra Ajahn Suparb Dhammapanyo was his teacher for the formal words of ordination. Phra Ajahn Plien passed the third level of Dhamma Doctrine exam three years after his ordination.

After his first rain retreat, Phra Ajahn Plien started his austere practice to search for salvation in various provinces and met many renowned teachers in northeastern, southern, and northern part of Thailand. But the teachers whom Phra Ajahn Plien received tutelage for his Dhamma practice from and served closely were Luang Puu Prom Jirapoonyo, Luang Puu Tate Tate-rangsi, Luang Puu Tuer Arjaladhammo, and Luang Puu Waen Sujinno. Other teachers included Phra Ajahn Juan Kulachetdho, Luang Puu Khao Analayo, Luang Puu Kamdee Papaso, Luang Puu Chob Thanasamo, Kruba Intajakraksa Intajakko, Luang Puu Saam Akinjano, Phra Ajahn Won Utamo, Luang Puu Waan Dhanapalo, Luang Puu Parng Jittakutto, for example. All teachers had kindly taught Phra Ajahn Plien and led him to good progress in his Dhamma practice.

Brief History of Wat Aranyawiwake
In the past, Wat Aranyawiwake was originally an old monastic residence, established by a group of people from various families in Intakhil Subdistrict, Maetang District, Chiangmai Province. They all had deep interest and faith in Buddhism.

They resolved to seek and invite virtuous monks, who were meditation masters, to reside in the village in order for them to hear the teaching of the Lord Buddha. Later on, they heard of a monk who practiced meditation and stopped by at Wat Gniew in Maetang District, so they invited the venerable Acariya Mun Bhuridatta. His venerable Luang Puu Mun accepted the invitation and gathered a group of faithful disciples, to seek an appropriate place for practice of meditation. They searched for 4 days and his venerable Luang Puu Mun found this place.

Upon the end of the rain retreat, his venerable Luang Puu Mun and the disciples decided to leave the place to continue their austere practice. His venerable Luang Puu Mun told the faithful followers, who attended him in Banpong, that he had named this place “Aranyawiwake monastic residence”. The name of this monastic residence “Aranyawiwake” was given by Luang Puu Mun.

Many masters of mediation have resided here during rain retreats. For example, there were Luang Puu kao of Wat Tamklongpane, Udonthani Province, Luang Puu Tate Tate-rangsi of Wat Hinmarkpeng, Nongkai Province, Luang Puu Chorb Thanasamo of Wat Pah Sammanusorn, Loei Province, Luang Puu Tuer Arjaladhammo, Luang Puu Prom jirapoonyo, Udonthani Province Luang Puu Kamsaen, Chiangmai Province, Luang Puu Kong, Chiangmai Province and Luang Puu Kam-aai, Chiangmai Province.

Later on, around the year 1952, Luang Puu Waen Sujinno returned to reside here during the rain retreat for 10 consecutive years. Then, Luang Puu Tuer Arjaladhammo, Luang Puu Saam Akinjano, Luang Puu Kam-aai Thitadhammo used to stay together here during the rain retreat for 3 years. Upon the end of the rain retreat, they each left for austere practice. It is difficult to find monks or novices to reside here so the place was left empty. There was only an old assembly hall that later was in a state of decay.

Later on, Luang Por Plien Panyapatipo, a disciple of Luang Puu Prom, Luang Puu Waen, Luang Puu Tuer, on his austere practice by himself, stayed here in 1966 and has since resided in this monastic residence until now.

We have 2 of his amulets available @ our outlet.
